When first launched, V-Patch creates a configuration file inside the L.A.

Installing the patch is extremely simple. The supported game builds are 26 (current version as of May 2021), including both Steam & R* Launcher releases. This is very useful if you’re trying to run the game on an unsupported resolution, like it is with 21:9 screens. You can force the game to run in a resolution of your choice by modifying the config file. The game now runs in a borderless window by default, which allows you to alt-tab faster and also has the effect of disabling v-sync. The black bars on 16:10, 4:3 or 5:4 have been removed and the game now uses your whole screen.

Driving around is nice but it could have been much nicer if there were actual things to do besides the main investigations. There should be bars, clubs, stores, etc that you should be able to go to just to explore the city. I can't believe they built the entire city of LA from the 1940s just to drive between missions. Would also be nice if there was some activities you could do between missions if you didn't want to just go straight home. I wish there was a player home in the city for Cole Phelps that he could retreat too in his own personal car after missions and where you could manually save the game by going to bed. Anybody know if this game can be modded or if there are mods for it? I only know of the frame rate unlocker but that just screws up the facial animations.
